I come from a line of men who speak less and observe a lot.

I was in my early 20s when I learned that my dad used to be a photographer and owned a camera he had bought from a white man in the 80s. Back then, most people had to wear a suit and go to an office to fit into society. (That was the norm.)

I do not like the norm.

I think there’s so much wisdom in the older generation; it's rare nowadays to find originality and soul. From a young age, curiosity fueled my creativity. I still believe that through curiosity, originality and friendship, art thrives.
